Who is Murdoch Travel?
Founded in 1989 by Doug Murdoch, Murdoch Travel was founded on the principle of giving our clients the best travel experience possible.
Unfortunately, Doug passed away in 2016.
Soon after, Murdoch Travel was purchased by long time employee Jeff Clarke and his husband Ron Robichaud in order to continue a tradition of excellence.
Recently we have been named one of the top 25 agencies in Canada by Travelsavers, a leading travel consortium.
Why Murdoch Travel?
We are a small, family run business but our desire is to build a nationally recognized brand and to be a leader in the Home Based Agent segment.
How are we going to accomplish this? By selecting highly motivated agents and giving them the freedom to grow our shared business. By giving our agents fair compensation for their hard work and by supporting these agents with the tools they need to thrive.

Why shouldn’t they! We are real people located in a brick and mortar store in Ontario and not a call centre where clients are treated as just another number.
As a local business, our profits go right back into our business and not buying a millionaire another yacht or expensive car.
We build relationships with our clients. Anyone can sell travel, but when you know your client and give them that perfect vacation that fits their needs they come back to you time and again.
We get the same pricing on many travel products as the big guys. When a service fee is required, it’s clear and explained upfront. We are also backed by TICO so a client can book with confidence.
